Azhan holds a Bachelor in Accounting (Hons) from a local university. He is a Chartered Accountant of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
For more than 25 years, he has been specialising in accounting, auditing and taxation and has served clients in various industries and sizes.
Azhan has also been involved in business management planning, budgeting, credit control and corporate finance during his tenure with commercial organisations.
Mohd Hilmi holds a degree in business majoring in accountancy from Charles Sturt University, Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant of Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of CPA Australia with over 20 years combined experience in professional practice and commercial organisations.
Prior to joining the firm, he has worked with Arthur Andersen & Co., multinational project management companies, public listed companies and various commercial organisations.
He has also led various assignments including special investigation, risk and operational review, due diligence review, financial system recovery and share valuation of governmental bodies, public and private companies.
Inspired by the resilience of the people he grew up with, Dato`Dr. Shan turned this motivation into his own success story. He was further encouraged by his elder brother and made it a point to complete his education beyond the tertiary level, an option not explored by many others within his village. “I was born and raised in the area that is now the Selayang Hospital and we were poor,” says this quiet, unassuming man. Poverty however, was not an obstacle.
After completing his Bachelor of Accountancy at University Utara Malaysia, he started working at Ernst & Young while teaching part-time at the Stamford College Group. He then went on to seek higher academic achievements. Armed with a Masters in Business Administration from University Putra Malaysia, then a PhD from Bircham International University, and currently pursuing a degree in Jurisprudence from University Malaya, this Chartered Accountant set out to achieve his dream.
Mohd Nizuaisham is a Professional Member of Institute of Internal Audit, Malaysian Chapter (IIAM) and a Chartered Accountant of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). A senior management member with more than 25 years of combined experience in internal auditing, treasury and information technology, which focuses on enhancements in business, governance and risk management processes.
His solid background includes serving UEM Group of Companies as a Head of Group Internal Audit in two of its major subsidiaries namely Projek Penyelenggaraan Lebuhraya Berhad (PROPEL) and HBN Management from 1997 until 2004. He then continued his career with Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAS) as an Internal Audit Manager in 2004 and was further posted in various other senior positions. His last position held with MAS, before joining us, was a Head of Governance, Compliance Business Support.
During his tenure with the firm, he has led and been involved in several advisory assignments which include Enterprise Risks Management, Internal Audit and Special Investigations.
Albert holds Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from The Nottingham Trent University (UK) and Master of Science in Distributed Systems and Networks from University of Hertfordshire (UK). His certifications include among others Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Cisco Network Associate: Security (CCNA: Security) and Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) has 12 years experience providing IT consultation services to local and foreign clients. He started his career as IT security engineer in Kent, UK serving 2012 Olympic Games Committee, Lloyd bank, KPMG Europe etc.
He came back to Malaysia in 2008 and served Digi, Public Bank, Hong Leong Bank, Digi, AirAsia in local IT security consulting firm. Prior to joining Mazars, he was a manager in Deloitte SEA services providing services to member firms in Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services South East Asia where he assisted Thai team on CIMB Thai, Filipino team on RCBC bank, Singaporean team on Norinchukin Bank and Indonesian team on CIMB Niaga. Locally, he served Maybank, CIMB bank etc. He has assisted Basis Bay and CSF Group obtaining ISO 27001 certification in 2012 & 2015.
In 1997, Ishak completed his diploma in banking studies at Mara Institute of Technology. Ishak holds a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (1994).
He has also pursued various professional courses such as Advance Banking for Senior Management at Asian Institute of Management (1988) and Senior Management Program at Harvard Business School (1994).
Prior to joining the firm, Ishak started his career in 1978 in Perwira Habib Bank Malaysia Bhd. (now known as AFFIN Bank Malaysia Bhd.). He had been working in the banking industry until his retirement in 2004. During his tenure, he held numerous positions in the bank from Internal Auditor to Head of Corporate Banking. His last designation was as the Head of Investment Banking where portfolio of client includes multinational and top largest local corporations. Later, Ishak joined Insmith Capital Partners as Executive Director. Ishak was co-founder of Ized Capital Partners Sdn. Bhd.
Ishak’s specialization are in the capital raising and restructuring exercise for corporations.
Academic Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and techniques as required by International Standards of Auditing (ISA) as well as solid grasp on Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Malaysia Private Entity Reporting Standards (MPERS) and Malaysia Public Sector Accounting Standards (MPSAS). Prior joining the firm, Dayana worked as Manager at Jamal Amin & Partners, leading several audit engagement on public listed companies clients and across various industries including property development, construction and oil and gas.
Academic Qualifications:
Expertise in tax compliance, tax advisory and critical financial analysis for companies, associations, co-operative societies, foundations, partnerships and individuals.
Aiman has delivered various trainings to business owners, directors, accountants and public. One of his experiences in training industry is he conducted tax seminar for Petronas Vendor Development Programme.
Tuan Muhamad Firdaus is an accountancy graduate from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and a Chartered Accountant of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He has over 14 years experience in audit and assurance services covering various types of industries such as banking, manufacturing, property development and construction, cooperative society and others.
Apart from statutory audit, Tuan Muhamad Firdaus has been involved in other assignments including financial due diligence and special audit. His strength lies on his understanding of key audit issues and provide solution to the clients based on the applicable accounting standards in Malaysia.
